Amanda Schulte joined ISDS as the Program Assistant in the fall of 2011. She is responsible for coordination and scheduling of the ISDS Board of Directors and Committee activities, assistance in producing and disseminating ISDS communication, maintenance of the ISDS website and social media, and management of membership information. 

Amanda earned her BA from Tufts University in International Relations and Community Health with a concentration in Global Health, Nutrition and Environment. Ms. Schulte also studied French and earned a minor in Arabic, which she honed studying abroad in Morocco. During her undergraduate career, Amanda was a dedicated member and leader of Timmy Global Health, a student-based non-profit that provides sustainable medical relief to rural communities in Guatemala. With this organization, Amanda helped solicit donations, collect medical supplies, recruit and manage volunteers, and develop a clean water initiative. Amanda also has experience with public health research and community-driven health interventions.
