Jean-Paul Chretien is Assistant Director, Integrated Biosurveillance at the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center. Previously he was senior public health advisor for US Marine Corps and NATO forces in southwestern Afghanistan. He received his MD, PhD (Epidemiology), and MHS (Biostatistics) from Johns Hopkins. He completed informatics fellowship at Johns Hopkins and is board-certified in Preventive Medicine.
